Oh the hilarity (after the fact because it wasn’t really sleeping pills), though I suggest these kids get some counseling about the dangers of real pharmaceuticals. The parents need help regarding pretend meds.
Three students at Watson B. Duncan Middle School were taken to hospitals as precaution after they took a homeopathic sleep-aid at school, according to Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue.
Chief Keith Bryer said 10 students at the middle school took the over-the-counter sleep aid. A bottle of Calms Forte was found with a student.
The company and poison control noted you can’t overdose. Why? Because there is no active ingredient in homeopathy remedies. There’s NOTHING in it (except filler). But three parents freaked and insisted they be checked out.
