Video of “blue” UFO over the Netherlands

Video taken in the Netherlands does not have an obvious explanation. Or does it? What do you think?

Blue UFO Spotted Over The Netherlands (VIDEO).

A blue-colored UFO, videotaped by a Netherlands resident, remains unexplained.

Blue? That’s something new.

OpenMinds.TV reports that, on April 11, Dick Smits was at home in the town of Maassluis — south of The Hague, the seat of government of the Netherlands and the capital city of South Holland.

It was the middle of the afternoon, and Smits was videotaping a boat on a canal. He spotted a blue object hovering in the sky for several minutes, so he turned his camera on it and zoomed in.

The most volunteered explanation is a US Stealth aircraft or the unmanned X-47B drone.

I don’t know if that makes sense for this sighting in this location but it allows us to not assume aliens, at least.

Not clear enough to properly identify which one, but certainly looks more like a drone. The Dassault nEUROn drone is however doing the rounds being tested by several European military arms, other than US drones. Don’t know why anyone could get excited about this, as clearly an aircraft.

Oh for chrissakes. It’s a digital camcorder! Don’t film the screen, ask the photographer for the file!

Note that he’s filming through a dirty window, and the object isn’t moving, although the time counter is rolling.

It’s a journalist, on a slow news day, & probably normally makes the office coffee, & doesn’t get out much, so they’d never think of simply asking to make a duplicate copy.

I’m more inclined to think it might be a radio controlled model aircraft. There’s no real apparent movement, and not much to judge scale. At least it wasn’t right in his backyard.

I’ve never understood why, in this day and age, nobody was sitting underneath one of these objects and took a picture.
Heck, most of the areas are clearly populated. If it was as big as it seems it would have to cast a shadow, so to speak, on some part of town.

Good point. It could be a chip in the glass or some goop on the outside of the window.

After watching several dozen such videos, I mocked them:
