Remains of the weekend 26-27 April 2014

Your editor has been at RavenCon in Richmond (Midlothian) Virginia this weekend talking about science and skepticism and enjoying panels and talks with people who are clearly knowledgeable about fictional alien races and propulsion systems. But I still found time to watch the news feeds.

“Oh my gosh, they found it… now what?”
Maybe it can finally make that phone call.

I beat that game 30 years ago.

Unless they also found a perfectly good cache of Reese’s Pieces next to the horde of game cartridges I’m not too impressed. 😉

It sounds like the scariest part of living in The Conjuring House was the unwanted attention from the media afterwards.

Sharon, did you happen to run into any of the cast of “Mountain Monsters” while you were up there? That was my favorite of the monster hunting shows that never seemed to find anything. Good cast of characters though.
It’s weird, but when we watch those shows, we fully expect and accept that they will never find what they set out to look for, but watch anyway.

When that sun phenomenon was visible in Sweden, I am betting not one hysterical person called their version of 911.
