You could even say it glows!

WOW. I LOVE THIS IDEA: Reflective reindeer.

Reindeer referred to heijastinsprayn task to prevent traffic accidents | Yle News | yle.fi.

The link is in Finnish but translated, it says that the Reindeer Herders’ Association in Finland sprayed reflective material on their own reindeers’ horns and fur. For this time of year, they are sticking with spraying the horns. They do this to make the deer more visible in headlights of motorists and to avoid accidents.

Impressive! Magical, even!

Coming home a 3AM from the pub and seeing that in the middle of the road. “Sobering experience” just doesn’t define it. I see the next M.Night Shyamalan movie glowing on the horizon. Or “Frozen II”.

That would be like shooting a cow here in the US. Reindeer are domestic animals. It would be treated as a felony level property damage case. Costing the perp a whole car load of money as well as jail time.

Oh, though i could see reindeer keepers setting glowy goo baits for wolverines to make them easier to track and kill. They hate the beasts.
