    Wow.

How sad is it when the BBC runs a puff piece about miracles, extolling all the old chestnuts, and tropes of “faith” with less substance than the ‘werewolf-cat’ piece!?

““The Lykoi Cat is a natural mutation from a domestic shorthair that has the appearance of a werewolf.”

There is no such thing as a werewolf, so how do they know it looks like one? Looks like a cat to me. Because I volunteer with a spay & neuter clinic, I see a lot of cats – hundreds each year. We all marvel at the surprisingly unique traits of each cat, but they still look like cats. Even the big-eared kittens that look like Bat Boy!

I don’t know, the coloration on that cat looks more like a possum than wolf to me…
Why didn’t they call it the “possum-cat” instead?
