A house billed as haunted for Halloween open year round. Why not? People will pay. Paranormal tourism at its finest.
A home has been a part of their family since 1944 but it wasn’t until recently that something strange started happening at the Benton family farm house in Walton.
Now paranormal investigators are flocking to the home trying to explain the unexplained.
The family believes gutting the walls may have sparked these unexplained happenings.
They brought in a psychic into the now vacant home and that’s when Marcum said they began learning about the spirits inside.
The doors have been recently opened to the general public for paranormal investigations all year round.
OOh, because psychics are reliable data collectors?! They charge $150 for every group investigation. You can tag along the Kentucky Afterlife Paranormal team as an individual for $50. Or just take the 2 hour tour for $25.
Money making or really haunted? Color me unimpressed and WILDLY skeptical. If it’s really haunted, bring in true investigators, not people searching for anything anomalous to call “paranormal”. Note that it appears the money is donated, but there is no clear mention of that. Regardless, it is exploiting the current trend to experience “real” “haunted” places. Use your imagination, any place can be haunted. No haunted houses… just haunted people.
