Dear world: We’re sorry for sending more stupid TV your way. Signed, America.
Syfy’s Ghost Hunters continues to scare up business oversees, with Alfred Haber Distribution locking down deals across Europe, Asia and Latin America for the long-running paranormal reality series.
Supreme Court Deals Setback to Hollywood, Won’t Hear Key ‘Ghost Hunters’ Case
Haber just closed new licensing deals for Ghost Hunters with, among others, Britain’s BSkyB, Australia’s Foxtel, OLN in Canada, NBCU in Latin America and Celestial for all of Southeast Asia. The show, which returns for a ninth season on Syfy Chanel January 22, is now seen in more than 137 countries worldwide.
I have to be honest, why would viewers in Britain, Australia, Canada, SE Asia and Latin America want to see these poor excuses for investigators traipse around American venues week after week finding nothing but imagining a lot?
At least we haven’t sent them Finding Bigfoot yet. Maybe they will think it’s a comedy. At least they will get the South Park reference now.
