And… there is goes. An odd numbered year (which even your most unsuperstitious of editors hates) and we’re back to even. Let’s hope it’s a good one.

And to end one year and start another, let’s go out with a bang. Here is a giant yellow rubber ducky exploding. I try to imagine it’s symbolic of that unsinkable rubber duck Kevin Trudeau or psychic scammers. They had a bad year. Boom. Enjoy.

    Spirituality and depression:

    So spiritual/religious people are thick headed? I kid. I kid.

    Chicken or the egg?

    Happiness is necessary but not sufficient.

    I think the real question is “What are the underlying, psychological, mechanisms of “spirituality” (a word so weasely that an operational definition is nearly impossible) and/or religion that effect the symptoms of depression?”
