Willow wallaroo wandered away

If you find this cute little thing, you may be tempted to keep her.

The MidWeek | Baby wallaroo missing in rural Kingston.

If you happen to see what looks like a miniature kangaroo hopping about, there’s nothing wrong with your eyes.

Her name is Willow, and her human family would very much like to have her back.

Willow is a 14-month-old baby wallaroo, an Australian marsupial that is like a miniature kangaroo. She is about 2 feet tall, gray and weighs between 15 and 20 pounds. She is the pet of the Cleveland family, and went missing from their home near Glidden and Cherry Valley roads in Kingston about 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Sightings of out of place kangaroos and wallabys are not all that uncommon. Here is a case where it is totally real. I hope she is found but I also wonder if people will start “seeing” her all over the place like fake sightings that have happened before.

You can have a wallaby as a pet? That’s completely awesome.

I hope little Miss Willow Wallaroo finds her way back home safe and sound soon. She’s quite a good looking little wallaroo, that’s for sure.
