Brazilian pastor raped six women claiming he was cleansing them of sins

Someone is possessed, it’s not the girls.

Brazilian pastor arrested for alleged rape

Police accuse Marcos Pereira, head of Brazil’s Assembly of God of the Latter Days church, of raping six women.

“He is accused of raping six women, including three under the age of 18,” police inspector Marcio Mendonca Dugubras on Wednesday.

Dugubras said that Pereira would tell his victims that they were possessed by the devil and therefore needed to have sex with a “holy” person.

The victims, all of them poor, consented, thinking that by doing so they “were ridding themselves” of their sins, Dugubras told reporters.

Marcos Pereira is suspected for having raped another 20 women since 1998, some of them minors.

Hey, waitaminute – that’s the same religionist that demanded women wear sweaty burkhas in Brazil?

    Here he is last year:

The more misogynist the ideas, I guess, the more rapey they turn out to be.

There has been a deluge of rape and other sex stories on both sides of the Atlantic recently. I accept that these were life destroying for some victims and always extremely sad, but the outbreak should also be recognised as a reflection of the human condition. If those involved can understand that, it may help them reduce feelings of anger, hate, fear and guilt. A few men (including some priests) are slaves to their own testosterone, luckily most of us men have it under control.

So another preacher is caught, well good for who ousted them. Some think this is something new but its not this has been going on for a long time, its just that now we are seen it up in the news where before it would not have been reported.

Evolution has only one ethic–survive to reproduce. He sows the seeds of the future. May they fall on fallow ground. I am disgusted.
