Only the REAL psychics can tell you how to avoid the fraudsters

This is either ridiculous or brilliant. The President of Psychic Access, Inc. complains about how his legitimate psychics have to deal with “the tragic aftermath of psychic scams, when the victim finally finds her way to us for skilled help and guidance,” Phony psychics damage the reputation of real ones. The readers at Psychic Access call them “fraudsters. ”

Psychic Access Warns Public to Avoid Psychic Scams.

In an effort to combat the prevalence of online psychic fraud and swindles, Psychic Access has now published a set of useful tips and guidelines on their website. The new information page offers a detailed anti-scam checklist informing consumers on how to spot a psychic scam. The set of red flags and danger signs was compiled from actual cases encountered by the experienced team at PsychicAccess.com and is made available online in an attempt to inform and educate the general public and potential customers who are interested in locating legitimate psychic reading services.

“We find that an increasing number of new customers try to research psychic sites in the hope of finding a reputable service provider they can trust. Unfortunately, some people are easily persuaded by cheap offers, special discounts and the smoke and mirrors of flashy advertisements and fake websites designed to mislead them. It is our hope and aim that this new info page on our website will empower potential clients to make safer choices and more informed decisions when it comes to selecting a legitimate psychic reading service,” says Doug.

“Legitimate psychic reading service” sounds like an oxymoron since psychics have never been show to have legitimate skills. Well, I guess that depends on how you define psychic. Some people are satisfied with cold reading and general life advice that makes them feel good. No special sense involved. Here is their How to Spot A Scam page. The contrast their quality with those of dubious psychics. It seems to have a lot to do with spiffy marketing presence – JUST LIKE THIS PRESS RELEASE. Here is my favorite criteria:

Authentic, skilled services

The psychic or company offers an authentic service based on actual paranormal talent, metaphysical skill and professional experience in spiritual work and healing.

At Psychic Access we aim to channel the world’s highest quality psychic insight, transformational guidance and mediumship to clients around the world. We pride ourselves in the provision of unprecedented insight and outstanding customer service.

How can you judge these qualities? I’m perplexed. Is there a psychic version of Linked In? Do they have a psychic human resources person who KNOWS who is going to work out. What is an authentic psychic? My brain is broken now. Oh wait, I went to the employment page and found the qualities they are looking for:

Personality plays an important role in your ability to deliver quality readings and advice. We are looking for psychics who, more often than not…

  • come up with new ways of doing things

  • think about future implications for an action

  • perceive the underlying meanings in what people say or do

  • see the big picture

  • decide to buy something just because they like it

  • refrain from revealing news that will upset others terribly

  • make to-do lists and schedule tasks in advance

  • bring closure to an issue in order to move on

Not sure what any of that has to do with psychic ability. But be assured that only good psychics are hired and they are TESTED. I’d be really curious about that.

This is a nifty way to advertise your business and take customers away from those cheap, storefront psychics. They don’t have spiffy marketing behind them.

Only “real” psychics should be allowed to swindle people out of money.

Swindlers cannot help being swindlers any more that “psychics”, who think they are psychic or know they are swindlers, can help being as they are.
