It’s always sunny in Iran…with the U.S. destroying the rain clouds and all

Ahmadinejad says enemies destroy Iran’s rain clouds -reports

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has accused his country’s enemies of enacting a sinister plan to create a drought by somehow destroying the rain clouds before they reach Iran, several Iranian websites reported on Tuesday.

“The enemy destroys the clouds that are headed towards our country and this is a war Iran will win,” Ahmadinejad said on Monday, according to several websites including the BBC’s Persian-language site and

Iran has one of the world’s driest climates and officials have warned that a severe lack of rainfall in parts of the country has created drought-like conditions.

The Iranian authorities have repeatedly accused the West of hatching plots to undermine Islamic leadership.

Tip: Strange Times

Not much to say except that paranoia is his thing. The Iranian Pres has frequently subscribe to conspiracy theories and announced them publicly. Al-Qaida even got on his case for saying 9/11 was an inside job. He was harshing their mellow, I guess.

Dude, you are in the desert. It doesn’t rain much there. Oh, why bother… he’s just gonna believe whatever suits him.

Did he not happen to notice that nearly 70% of our country was in severe drought this year? If he was smart he would have claimed that was his doing and we escalate the whole non-existent “War on Weather”

Little bit of residual amerikano bias there perhaps? What was the source of this ridiculous jab….(if anyone actually bothered to watch a REAL interview with the man, he doesn’t come across as paranoid or crazy at all….he’s highly educated, well spoken and totally reasonable….which is why ‘idoubt’ this sound bite)…..”The Iranian authorities have repeatedly accused the West of hatching plots to undermine Islamic leadership.”…….America DOES screw with the Political Landscape….Worldwide (‘regime change’ for ‘humanitarian reasons’ ie ‘america wants your resources….you’d better do business with us or we’ll just come and TAKE IT’….remember Libya? No prob not, this being an American Blog and all. ‘regime change’ being the favourite excuse/lie that gets to the sleeping/braindead American Public to send the troops/black-ops in)……all REAL Americans (not americans(sic), but Americans with a capital A) should do themselves a favour and turn Fox/CNN OFF and go get a subscription to ,or some other such site that offers alternative news sources, and get some REAL, non-US sourced news and op-eds and begin your education into just how big a butcher and bully America really is….(and its fun stirring up the conspiracy theorists)

Turn off Fox/CNN how dare you sir, they are American icons for our amusement not including that freedom of speech and press still applies.

On the other hand anyone who believes in real Witches and Jin does not seem to be as intelligent or stable as you seem to believe. Education does not only come from formal education it must be tailored and cultivated from reality and skeptic endeavors.

I have one world for you “religion” that really all you need. We curtailed the power of religion in the West. If anything is to be gained is that in places where ancient believes in the supernatural is prevalent we see a dumb down of education and science. Once that happens it become easier for some to manipulate society for their own retarded pleasures.

Vin, while you are correct that the USA throws it’s weight about far too much and has been responsible for meddling that has royally screwed up the natural progression of the Islamic world towards increased secularism and modernisation (starting decades ago when the democratically elected government of Iran was overthrown by the American backed Shah, so that a simple dictatorship in contractual alignment with American policies could be maintained in place of an independent democratic country which was not so easy to control… the same policy which has kept dictators in power all around the world, so long as they toe the American political line), the fact is that Mrs Clinto was still backing the Egyptian dictatorship until it became impossible due to massive popular resistance toppled the regime…( unsuccessfully as it turns out), and the USA was quite happy doing business with Gaddafi (and Britain also was doing this, even renditioning opponents of the regime and sending them back to Libya to be tortured by Gaddafi’s people), until it became impossible due to a popular revolt that was caused by the decades of brutal oppression they had had to endure…. thanks to modern communications tech, those people were finally able to see that they were not isolated, and they reached out to each other and threw off their fear and revolted against the dictator. America’s got a lot to answer for, and is a self-righteous hypocrite of a government, and somewhat delusional in that they don’t acknowledge the legitimate grievances of the peoples they have manipulated so stupidly that the world is a much worse place now than it would have been if they had been a nation of principled and honest husbandry rather than the self-interested ignorant opportunists they have actually been…. but it’s not quite what you are depicting above. And if we hadn’t sent in the planes, Benghazi would have been a massacre like never before in history… oh except for the bombing of Dresden by the British in the 2nd WW, or Hiroshima and Nagasaki, of course… oh and…etc

How are we we finding the time to control Iran’s weather, what with us being so busy starting earthquakes in Venezuela?
