Find the fossil finger in this foto of Mars

Oh my, those anomaly hunters are on the ball.

A new image from Mars Curiosity was scrutinized and guess what was found. (not really)

The website (webcited) has found a finger.

The image captures, what looks like a finger with nail. The NASA Mars Curiosity rovers wheels are 29.52 Inches wide, a human finger is about 3.5 inches the fossil finger appears to be roughly 5-6 Inches in length.

Here is the original picture. Can you find the finger?

Here, I’ll help you by zooming in the left upper quadrant.

See it now. Yeah… you see what you want. Pareidolia!

UPDATE (21-Aug-2012): Gizmodo has this piece that describes even more -  dead pixels UFOs seen in pictures from Mars.

Oh, dear…

And yet, I only see small rocks… should I visit a neurologist?

All this time I thought only bone fossilized. I never knew skin and flesh and fingernails fossilized, too. Learn something new everyday.

I don’t understand why people think there would be artifacts strewn about the surface of Mars, even IF earthlings or martians had lived there.

It’s like, go park a rover in the middle of a random desert and count the signs of an ancient civilizations on Earth. Virtually everything that did survive 5000 years only survived because it was buried!

If the size of the wheel quoted is correct, that rock is no more than an inch long.

It is *obviously* a piece from a statue.

    The Angels have the rover!

Gee, I guess a WW1 helmet (at :35) doesn’t qualify as an anomaly. A lot easier to spot than a sandal. Although I thought that looked more like an old Motorola Razr phone.
