The Sun hypes ‘alien’ creature from 2007

‘Alien’ creature caught on camera

Mystery surrounds this crazy critter as it creeps its way up and down a leaf.

The 50sec UFO Huge Bug Found video clip was only uploaded yesterday and may well spark debate between wildlife experts.

Tip: Cryptozoology Online

Sure, looks like a deformed bat but it moves like a caterpillar. This might have been easier to discover what this is had they just turned the creature around or provided some scale. At least then you could see it was not a bat. The leaf is small. In all likelihood it is a larva, possibly related to the hag moth.

There is no sparking of debate here. And, HELLO, crap source, The Sun! It was not uploaded yesterday but finding the original YouTube video, linked above (not the one in The Sun), it was uploaded May 10, 2007. The internet – gives ugly bugs new life as aliens.

That is not an ugly bug. It is a BUTT-ugly bug. Ew. Nature is gross.

Just goes to show, though. If you look like something inedible, you don’t get eaten. Usually. Yay evolution.

Dude, if I look ever like that, eat me and put me out of my hideous misery. 🙂

Sure would help if the location of the beast had been reported. It does look suspiciously like a hag moth larvae, although it could be a multi-dimensional sasquatch caught in a 3rd phase shift. Extremely rare, but possible. (humor)

We have FAR more bizarre looking native creatures here on Earth… no need for the alien conjecture.

What’s the bet that that moth larvae holds some kind of parasite that will infect whatever predates bats in the area. I love nature…you simply can’t beat half a billion years of Evolution (if we could turn it into an Algorithm, imagine what we could predict)…it has an answer for everything. Life IS amazing.

Interesting. Eight things that look like, but clearly do not function as, legs. Why pretend to be a spider? Protective mimicry?
