Darren noted that this was actual CGI footage from the film The Hunter, recently released. But, it is making the rounds on social media and some people believe it is real. The thylacine, or tasmanian tiger, is extinct. While sightings are still reported and many people believe it is still out there, it almost certainly has died out due to such few individuals remaining over the past decades to carry on a population.

I have 2 witnesses who have seen them in North Queensland rainforest, one a Government Department Vet and the other a construction worker.

I’m looking forward to watching the movie, after the director was recently featured on the Monster Talk podcast. It looks stunning.

Another thing the 1995 Pyengana sighting has also come out as being a hoax set up by the landlord of the nearby pub.
