What is it? Skyshark!

Did Lorain County girl capture UFO on video in Penfield?

PENFIELD, Ohio – On March 22, the 12-year-old was outside when something in the sky caught her eye. Take a look at the video she captured on her camera.

In the beginning of the video, the object looks like a shark or whale flying in the sky, with dorsal fins and a tail.

After about 30 seconds in, the girl loses the object. But a few seconds later, it reappears, this time metallic looking as it reflects under the sun. It also seems to have a glow around it and circular indents in the sides.

When I first saw these remote controlled air sharks, I TOTALLY KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN! Methinks this toy went beyond its range (40′).

This is how UFO stories should end: someone looks into it just a little deeper and uncovers what it really is. You can’t ever trust your eye, it tells you quite the silly story…

Thanks to our new contributor – Chew – for this story! Awesome.

Holy cats, Paige M. take a chill pill. NEVER EVER write a comment in all caps – people will think you are crazy and immediately dismiss what you say. Second, it’s pretty clearly the air swimmer shark. What is the alternative? Not a balloon type object that looks like a shark?

How do you know what the wind is like above the ground? It can be different and this object is also propelled (remote controlled). Not saying it was at this point, could have been just floating, but taken with all the other possibilities, it’s a very logical explanation. You might consider how difficult it is to estimate a size of something in the sky. Take a deep breath and just think about this. This was a great story and I’m glad Tylin went on the news to talk about it. Why are you freaking out?

It’s important to be able to tell a skyshark from a skydolphin … one fin or two fins poking up out of the clouds.
