Bachmann is backwards on evolution

Bachmann suggests intelligent design is a ‘scientific fact’ | The Raw Story.

Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann says schools should teach children about evolution and intelligent design because “the best thing to do is to allow all scientific facts on the table.”

During a question-and-answer session at the University of Northern Iowa Wednesday, Bachmann was asked if intelligent design should be taught as science in public schools.

“I think that all science should be on the table,” the candidate explained. “I think the one thing we do not want to have is censorship by government.”

Bachmann never fails to deliver stupidity and ignorance of many topics on cue. These statements are so old-fashioned and moldy yet they feed into a segment of the population that seemingly wishes to turn human knowledge back more than a century. A hundred years ago, women didn’t campaign for president. I really don’t think you want to go there.

We are talking about a woman who denied climate change on the grounds that she believes that CO2 is non toxic.
