Devastated Demi Moore was advised to divorce Ashton Kutcher by a psychic.
Demi [...] has been seeing psychics and spiritual counsellors for guidance since Kutcher, 33, was accused of cheating on their sixth wedding anniversary in September.
[...] A pal said: “Demi is very reliant on psychics and spiritual advisers and has been visiting several.
“And she listened when one insisted that to save her health she had to stop clinging to the hope of saving the marriage.
“Her three daughters had been telling her the same thing, but it was the psychic who tipped the balance.”

I imagine it is hard for a celebrity to find a confidente, someone who can give things to them straight. If this story is true, and it does seem like celebrities do love their psychic counselors, was the psychic used as an impartial advisor because they get their info supposedly from “beyond” and appear to have no self-interest? The last line, about the psychic typing the balance over her own family, is a bit sad. But, I think this story suggests you don’t need to actually be psychic to provide advice, especially when the client is obviously suffering. Maybe you just have to appear impartial to enable the troubled celebrity to gain some much needed sense of control over her life. Just saying…
