Remember Sept. 11? No you don’t

Remember Sept. 11? No you don’t: Ottawa Citizen.

Everyone remembers September 11, right? Especially the president. Yet, President Bush was caught telling different versions of his memory of the events that day. Was he lying? Was it a conspiracy?

Nope. It’s just a sad fact that memories fade and get distorted; even the most powerful of life events are not preserved forever unchanged in our brains.

Interesting, but I believe I do remember that day. I’m quite sure because it was a rather mundane scenario, at work with the internet, talking to the office admin and such. No heroics or drama. A rather boring setting under the circumstances of such a one in a lifetime event. I think I would have jazzed it up had I fabricated memories.
