There’s been a lot of buzz lately about the satellite making its crashing reentry to Earth. A Danish couple thought parts of it landed in their backyard.

There are some glaring faults with this obvious hoax. First, there’s no sign of impact on the ground. Second, the pieces themselves seem to be in exceptionally good condition after reentry to the Earth’s atmosphere. Notice, there are no dents or scorching on the “satellite” pieces.

Of course, that the satellite will most likely be very hard to find. It’s doubtful it will land in someone’s backyard.

We give the hoaxers a solid “F” for execution, but a decent “C” for creativity.

In a related story, some folks near Calgary, Canada think they have it on video.
