Boiron Shares Fall Most Since 1989 on First-Half Earnings

Boiron Shares Fall Most Since 1989 on First-Half Earnings- Bloomberg.

Boiron SA (BOI), a French maker of homeopathic remedies, fell the most since at least 1989 in Paris trading after reporting a slump in first-half earnings.

Boiron was recently on the skeptical radar for threatening to sue an Italian blogger who criticized their product oscillococcinum. Science-based medicine blog called this “thuggery” and the Center for Inquiry publicly invited Boiron to sue them. Therefore, the news that their bottom line is headed downwards is good news.

I suspect it is the class action lawsuit that is causing Boiron shares to drop.–boiron-oscillococcinum-class-action-lawsuit

It is a lawsuit they can’t win, except by showing that homeopathy works.

Actually, a lot of people invited Boiron to sue them following the Blog0 fiasco. We’re all still waiting for the postman to knock. Funny that.
