The two-month-old – part of a litter born on a farm in Deshengtang, Jilin province, northern China – can use both his mouths to eat and appears otherwise normal, say his owners.

Comments on this story include speculation that the piglet is the result of a failed twinning event. There is also suggestions that China’s high pollution may be the source of the genetic defect. This little guy/gal was not treated like a harbinger of doom like some animal mutants. It’s owners, seeing it had a hard time eating, fed it from a bottle and it is doing well two months later.
